On the Heart ~

As the blunt razor cries out
So too does the heart.
~
A man is his heart
~
The heart is the ear.
~
The voice of God is as loud
As you want it to be.
~
The voice of God can be heard
In the mists of the early morning
In the heat of the noonday sun
And in the still of the night.
~
Heed the voice within.
It is your only guide - your only Light.
All else is Darkness.
~
Why the need for the preacher?
Is not the heart the greatest voice?
~
The heart is the morning mist.
It is the morning dew.
~
As the sunbream comes
So does the heart of man rise
The two in fact are one
~
He who follows the heart
Can never be lost.
The heart is one's Home
~
The stillness of the night is known
Only by those who are Still.
~
Take pride in nothing
For pride is a destroyer.
~
As a man’s heart is
So too is the world
For the whole world
Is but he
~
A man who listens not
To His own Voice
But to the counsel of others
Is mad
Thus he demands, "Where is God?"
~
Is not the silence of the night

With Oneself?
~
To clean ones heart
Is to clean
The whole world!
