On Madness ~
Revision 1
Better it is
To be mad
Than not.
If one is simply normal then one is not Oneself but a normal incarnation - a mere expression of Oneself. By my saying that it is better to be mad than not, I'm saying that is is better to be true to Oneself and off by the masses as insane, than it is to deny your True Self and live the lie of conformist sanity.
~
Madness is known
Only through recognition
Both subject and observer
Are brothers
If you call another insane it means that you recognize the condition - thus relating to it. It means, actually, that you are more insane, since you have mastered it to such an extent that you know it well enough to stay clear from it.
~
How Splendid
Dormant madness
That bursts forth uncontrollably!
Madness is mental freedom!
~
Madness is the air
Madness is mental freedom!
~
If a fool I am
Then a fool I am
Be true to Yourself - whatever that self might be! This is the best. It is Self/God.
~
Madness is freedom
But freedom is not always madness.
~
Insanity is self-obsession.
Be not insane!
Don't be obsessed with your lower-self (hanging on to the past etc). Be rather obsessed with Self/God.
~
He who asks himself, "Am I mad?"
Cannot be more sane
